1. Elbe Gorge (Germany)
In Saxon Switzerland the Elbe River meanders between the rocky The Polabian Mountains. It is a great place for a kayaking. We rent the equipment a bit before Königstein. After about 1 km, we stop to take a look at the fortress towering over the city. Another interesting place on the route is Kurort Rathen, where we arrive after about 1 hour. Here we wait until the ferry reaches the right bank and only then we pass it. The fastening ropes are then deep, which enables safe handling. A bit after the crossings, we stop on the left bank to take a photo of the famous Bastei Bridge. Further on, the Elbe river becomes wider and its current slower. After 11 km we reach the end of the trip in the town of Stadt Wehlen. From there, we return to Königstein by train. Trail: https://pl.mapy.cz/s/kosofoceka

2. Meanders of the Upper Oder
Meanders of the Upper Oder are one of the most interesting kayaking trips in the Silesian Voivodeship. Odra in this episode it meanders between wild banks. We meet here natural rapids, sharp bends and fallen trees, and the river itself accelerates once and then slows down lazily. I recommend stopping by the 27 m high observation tower and seeing the meanders from above. The trip starts at the border crossing in Chalupki and ends behind the bridge in Zabelkow. The total length of the trip is 7.5 km and the duration is about 2 hours. Trail: https://pl.mapy.cz/s/nakuvejeha

3. Biala Przemsza from Slawkow
The Biala Przemsza is a river with a rapid current, flowing through the Jura. On the route we pass meanders, backwaters and wild forest refuges. Interesting places include the gorge of the river called the Switzerland of Zag³ebie and the wetlands below S³awkow. The trip starts at the mill in Okradzionow and ends behind the bridge in Slawkow Miedawa. The length of the trip is 10 km and the duration is 4 hours. Currently, due to the low water level, the trip route is slightly changed.

4. Chocina, Brda and lakes
Chocina and Brda are rivers flowing through Kashubia and must-sees for every self-respecting canoeist. We start the trip in Chocinski Mlyn on the Chocina River. This one meanders at the level of meadows, which gives an interesting impression of swimming through the fields. The Chocina flows into Lake Karsinskie, where it joins the Brda. After 10 km and about 4 hours we reach Swornegacie. At this point, we can end the trip by dividing it into two days. Then we sail along the Brda River. It takes us about 4 hours, and the distance we cover is 9 km. On the way we pass Witoczno Lake and Malolackie Lake, where we turn left. We flow under the bridge and enter Lake Plesno, where we bathe in its azure waters. We return to Lake Malolackie and continue through Lake Lackie to Drzewicz. The total length of the entire trip is 19 km, and the time of easy paddling is 8 hours.

5. Pilica from Szczekociny
The Pilica river flows through the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland. In this section the river meanders through numerous islands and meanders. Shallow and clean water and a sandy bottom encourage swimming. The trip starts at the palace in Szczekociny and ends at the bridge in Przylek. There are three obstacles along the way that require you to carry your kayak. When the water level is low the river is quite demanding. The length of the trip is 15 km, and the time spent in the kayak is 5 hours.

6. Ruda from Rybnik Stodoly
The Ruda is a picturesque river meandering through the fields and forests of the Silesian Voivodeship. The trip starts in Rybnik Stodo³y below Lake Rybnickie and ends at the marina in Rudy. In this section, the river flows calmly among forests and meadows, passing narrow-gauge railway bridges and the remains of old watermills on the way. In the Cistercian Park in Ruchy there is a large weir where we can carry a canoe. The length of the trip is 10 km, and the time spent on the water is about 3.5 hours.

7. Ruda from Ruda Kozielska
The Ruda is a river meandering through meadows and forests of the Silesia. The trip starts in Ruda Kozielska, in the Cistercian Park, and ends in front of Kuznia Raciborska. In this section, the route is picturesque but more demanding. The river calmly leads us through the wild forest refuges of the Cistercian Landscape Park. Here we come across numerous fallen trees and branches that need to be cleverly overcome. The length of the trip is 13 km, and the time spent in the kayak is about 5 hours.

8. Mala Panew from Kolonowskie
The Mala Panew is an unregulated river flowing through the Opolskie Voivodeship. In the described section, the river often changes its bed, washes away the banks and creates sandy patches. In Staniszcze Male we move the canoe by the metal weir. Further on, the river lazily wanders among meadows and fields. The trip starts at the marina in Kolonowskie and ends before Krasiejow. The total length of the route is 10 km, and the estimated time in the kayak is about 3 hours.

9. Former Sztola from Bukowno
The Sztola was a river meandering through the Jura Krakowsko - Czestochowska. From January 2022, due to the invasive operation of mining in these areas, the river ceased to exist. The trip started near the Lesny Dwor reservoir in Bukowno, and ended at the bridge on ul. Borowska. The length of the trip was short, only 3 km, and the time spent in the kayak was 1.5 hours. Despite the fact that the route was short, the strong current of the river and its narrow bed provided a lot of emotions.
